Just like everyone else in the world, I’ve seen poverty and depression, loss of hope and empty souls. It’s sad… really, to see people throughout the world suffer when we’re sitting comfortably in our cozy homes with our big screen TV’s, drinking hot tea. I’m not one to judge because I, too, live very comfortably. However, I sometimes wonder how big of a difference it would make if we didn’t spend money on our fancy purses and pursued a life to help those who are less fortunate.
I’m talking about donating, volunteering your time, buying the homeless shelter across the street a couple new pillows and just putting forth some effort for people who need help.
Below are a few nonprofits that you might not have heard of, but are making a difference in the world! — Join them!
